Biography

Hannah Lee is a research coordinator and pre-doc at the Opportunity for Health Lab. They hold a Bachelor of Arts in PPE (Philosophy, Politics, and Economics) and Psychology with a minor in Music from the University of Pennsylvania, and a Master of Science in Education in Education Policy from the Penn Graduate School of Education.

Prior to joining, they were a research assistant at the Center for Benefit-Cost Studies of Education, where they supported projects studying the cost-effectiveness and efficacy of local, state, and national policies and interventions impacting education. They were an awardee of the PURM mentorship program in 2023, and continued working with the Positive Psychology Center to develop survey studies and large language models related to human agency, rest, and restoration.

Hannah is currently interested in applying causal inference and econometric methods to explore how spatiality can explain the relationship between inequality and access, and the intersections of education and health.
