Biography
Eva Fabian is the Chief of Staff for the Opportunity for Health Lab at the University of Pennsylvania, where she oversees day-to-day operations, partnerships, and research infrastructure supporting the lab’s portfolio. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Physiology from San Francisco State University and a Master of Public Health in Epidemiology from The Ohio State University. Eva brings extensive experience in applied epidemiology and public-sector leadership, with prior roles at the Ohio Department of Health, the Border Infectious Disease Surveillance Program in San Diego, the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, and the New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene during the COVID-19 pandemic. Her interests center on expanding economic opportunities to improve health, particularly increasing access to nutritious foods in rural communities.
