Biography

Rajvi is a research assistant in the Opportunity for Health Lab. She holds an M.S. in Applied Statistics from the University of Michigan and a B.Tech in Computer Science from Vellore Institute of Technology, India. Her background is in statistical modeling and inference spanning causal, Bayesian, and spatial methods, as well as machine learning techniques such as NLP and RAG, and she is interested in applying these to geospatial, climate, and public health problems. At OfH, Rajvi is working on a project using natural language processing and large language models to study how the experience of feeling stuck has been reflected in popular music over time, exploring how art imitates life as economic and cultural conditions shift.
